SoCal Monahan's: Welcome 2012!!!

Let me first start off by apologizing for the almost month long hiatus!!! December came and went in the blink of an eye! Well, everyday comes and goes so quickly with the little one in our life! For only being nine weeks old Charlotte has been able to experience many of her firsts!!! She had her first wellness appointment in the month of December and she now weighs in at...drum roll please... 10 Ilbs 14 oz and is 21 and 3/4 inches long! (all those nightly feedings really are paying off!) Charlotte went to her first ward party and was a hit in one of her many Christmas dresses!! She met her aunts, uncles, and cousin for the first time! She had her first Christmas eve, Christmas and New Years! She got her first gift from Santa! He brought her a Baby Einstein floor gym that she adores! Every morning we put her on her mat and she just starts singing and dancing to the music! She went to her first movie (and might I add slept through the entire thing!) It really was a most magical month for us! Everywhere I went strangers would tell what an amazing Christmas gift I had and I could not agree more! Words fall short of the love that I have for my little girl! I have never been so excited for a new year to start! I have no idea what is in store for our little Monahan family this year but now that we have our baby Charlotte in our life and I cannot wait for our adventures to continue!!! We are so blessed and so thankful for all that we have been given in 2011 and look forward to what is to come in 2012!
